Pixies, Hey I work in an office which can get a bit stale towards the end of the week, so every Friday we listen to this track. I got really in to the Pixies when I was at uni and used to carry a case of albums to the library with my CD walkman. Love this live version - check it!

I Build Collapsible Mountains, Slow Approacher Getting a little bit all slow and acoustic today, but I found this guy (Luke G Joyce) and it’s just a really beautiful set of songs - the kind that could definitely make a soundtrack for a despondent indie film like Submarine. Plus I like the name. It would be a pretty awesome skill.

For me the highlight of my festival season is Belladrum outside Inverness.  It’s a magical forest (ok Italian gardens, pretty much the same difference) which constantly defies the forecast with sunshiney weather.
